On Friday 13th January the Artclub who had made the "Under the Sea" animals were invited to a private viewing of their work at the Children's Centre.
The community room was filled with the artclub and their families and friends. Stephen Ward photographed the event for the Rothwell Record to celebrate this wonderful community event.
"Staff, parents and children of Lofthouse Children's Centre would like
to offer a huge thank you to the children from Robin Hood Primary
School. They have worked very hard to provide us with an "Under the Sea"
display which has made a real difference to our community space. We are
honoured to have such talented children and staff at school who have spent
time organising this project. To see children's art work being displayed in
the community for others to enjoy is fantastic".
